Bible Note: To best understand the nature of Jesus' prayer we need to understand the nature of the Trinity and the nature of Jesus' incarnation. The Trinity is made up of Father, Son, and Spirit. The point relevant to this topic is that they do communicate. The thing we need to understand about the incarnation is that Jesus became fully human and set aside his rights as God (omniscience, omnipotence, etc) and even He had to live out trust in the Father, thus his prayer. hope that helps.
