Bible Answer: Walkfor christ I have been reading the various post and have found them to be interesting. I was taught from childhood not to lie and that lying is a sin. I still believe that. I noticed that it was mentioned abut plan A and there was no plan B. My belief is that God KNOWS what is going to happen and sometimes He does use our sin to bring about His will. That is not to say that that is His first desire but He can use anything to do what He knows is best. Yes, the midwives lied to save Moses but who are we to say that was God's only way of doing it? Maybe God had a plan B. That doesn't mean that it was not a sin to lie. I am not trying to say that I would not do the same thing, I'm flesh and a sinner. I do things daily that I am ashamed of but God does forgive me and maybe He can use my desire to do right and turn it around for good. I hope I did't offend anyone, this is the way I look at what was being said. God bless isa26 |
