Bible Question:
tomn, how is suffering for someone else holy? In Col 1:24 Paul says "my sufferings for your sake" ... how is that holy? Define "suffering" and "holy". Searcher |
Bible Answer: I would go with the common idea of suffering and holy. Which means suffering is holy when it is done for a holy reason or in a holy way. Such as what we endure to bring and witness the Gospel of Salvation of us from Hell by the work of Jesus Christ as our living Lord and Savior today. |
