Bible Question (short): The lessons of suffering |
Question (full): Thanks for your reply, Creed. I agree that it is important to find the lesson in suffering, and that all suffering contains a hidden gift, a lesson, an inner transformation ("We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." (Rom 5:3-4)) But, to get back to the question, do you believe such things as I have listed can be suffered bravely "for Christ's sake," or that such sufferings are joined to His passion and sacrifice here on Earth? --Cheryl |
