Bible Question:
Dear Brad, There once was a developer who built a project of 450 custom homes on a beautiful country hillside. They were strong solid homes made of concrete, brick and stone. He decided to make 150 of them very special using only quality materials with all the amenities one could imagine. The other 300 he decided to build without the water piping, electrical wiring and windows. Well, after all the homes had been built and after two years of activity, there were left 300 of them unsold. The developer was patient however, and waited several more years for the sales team to save them. But none of them could be sold. He was so upset he decided the only right thing to do was to destroy all the unsold homes. His anger was so intense he commisioned a perpetual rotation of 300 gas trucks to fuel huge flame throwers as he wanted to burn these defected homes until the bricks and stone melted. The developer felt that his vindication was not only logical, but loving, merciful and just. Does it make any sense that God, whose majesty is demonstrated to us in the greatness and order of the universe, would create all of humanity, only to one day destroy the majority of them in everlasting fire? Bible Answer: Hello Pukalanian, I’ve read all of your posting so why don’t we just cut to the chase! You evidently don’t believe what the Bible says, but regardless of how we as humans got in the mess that we find ourselves in, how do you propose the situation be corrected? Since we are all on a collision course with physical death and the judgment of God, what is the recommended action needed to solve the problem or don’t you believe we even have a problem? Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: CDBJ |
