Bible Question: If we do celebrate Christmas for the right reason, then what would be the best way to celebrate this special birth of our Saviour e.g. The three wise men brought presents to baby Jesus. Matt 2:11 |
Bible Answer: Greetings Julius! "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship." Romans 12:1 Julius, I believe that if we do this everyday (Matthew 16:24) then we can celebrate His coming not on just one special day like Christmas, but everyday! In that way, Christmas is no different than any other day, since we must live for Him on Christmas as well. And in this way, our "gift" of ourselves is every bit as good as any gift that the wise men could have brought. Blessings to you, Nolan |
