Subject: Are Christmas and Easter pagan? |
Bible Note: Redboy Actually the day we call Easter is usually several days after passover. Passover is when the passover Lamb died and his blood preserved the children of Israel from death. Our Savior died that day and his blood protects us from death. However our Savior also rose from the grave and that we also celebrate it is known as Easter. The day set aside to celebrate Christ's resurrection from the grave. Where is the problem? The name, how about we call it resurrection Sunday instead? In fact that is exactly what we do in the church I attend. EdB |
