AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 3:28 There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]. [Rom 3:22; 1 Cor 12:13] |

Bible Note: Dear Brother CDBJ, You asked, "Have you ever considered that you were never really broken off from the natural tree?" Yes, I had. But that would imply that salvation was meritable as a matter of genetics. Worse still, it would imply that salvation was through something other than the atoning power of Jesus alone through faith alone by grace alone. You see, once I was lost, now I am saved. When I was lost, would I have been part of the tree? :-) However, we aren't left to speculate about such things. Paul goes on and writes, "And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again." (Romans 11:23 ESV) I praise God, thanking Him daily, that once broken off, He in His divine grace, has grafted me back in again! In Him, Doc |
