Bible Note: Mike - It rather distresses me to learn your view of Tim Moran's posts. You say that in them he comes across as appearing to be better than his peers on the Forum. I was on this Forum when Tim made his very first post and have followed his work rather closely since that time. Your reaction to Tim's posts surprises me because, quite candidly, I have found him to be consistently kind, polite, and patient in his relationships with Forum participants. In fact, I would hold Tim's posts up to everyone as a paragon, for he not only is diligent to present solid, scripturally-founded arguments, but he does it with love and tenderness. I have seen this Christian brother under attack on this Forum a number of times and he rises to the occasion admirably, showing an abundance of poise and grace under fire. I beg you to re-assess your evaluation of Tim Moran's posts. He is a distinct asset to StudyBibleForum, and how I long for his enviable gift to disagree so agreeably! ..... There is always the possibility, Mike, that what we perceive as imperfections in others is merely a mirror of ourselves. Shakespeare put it, "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves." --Hank |
