NASB | 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 11:4 For [you seem willing to allow it] if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted. You tolerate all this beautifully [welcoming the deception]. |
Subject: J. Preston Eby? |
Bible Note: Good morning Norrie. I took a few minutes and very briefly scan-read through Mr. Eby's teaching on the subject of eternal condemnation. The predominate theme was the question concerning those who had not heard the gospel and how could a just and loving God condemn anyone who had not heard... When he 'pulled it together' to the conclusion that somehow people in Hell still had opportunity for redemption....he gave no scripture that I could see 'at a glance' to explain how those lost that did not hear the gospel were going to hear the gospel once they entered Hell. How does this lady respond to this question? Do these hear from others who are in Hell who heard, and if so, what scripture does she use to back up this idea? God bless |
