Bible Question:
1. Is it biblical for pastors to take a salary? 2. If so, are there any passages in the bible supporting this? 3. Did the disciples give up their trades or jobs to follow Jesus? 4. If so, are there any passages in the bible supporting this? Thank You |
Bible Answer: I feel that when Jesus said he gave a tenth of all he gained, he was giving primarily to theneedy, afflicted, widows, etc.Which then MIGHT be distributedby a pastor, but necessarilyALWAYS. I feel a pastor shouldn't be SHY about workingand that if they do work shouldtry to include their flock asmuch as possible, hence having ALL things in common. We ALL need to make EVERY effort tonurture the Christian Communityevery chance we get! In Love |
