Subject: Can sinnners inherit the kingdom of God? |
Bible Note: Hank and Kalos good advice...well worth taking to our hearts and considering. But in a sense aren't we "regenerated" immediately when we believe that Jesus died for our sins? Doesn't Paul teach that? But in another sense, the work of the Holy Sprit to actually change our sinful lives takes much, much longer. It seems to me many times the Holy Sprit works at a slow pace relative to the quick fix expectations that our culture believe's in ... and many times we go thru a long painful rebirth process of dying to the natural man.... which can take years. Are we not saved in the meantime? Is a sin like homosexuality or adultery any diffferent from sins of Pride? |
