Subject: Can sinnners inherit the kingdom of God? |
Bible Note: It's a fact that we are all sinners as stated in I John 1:8 but also we must consider that God cannot tolerate sin in His presence. We know we are nothing without Jesus and what He accomplished on the cross. Yet there are many actions we can take on our own to allow Jesus to help us not be adulterers, fornicators, idolaters the list can go on and on. I don't believe active sinners can inherit the Kingdom of God, meaning people saying Jesus has taken care of it for me and continue in sin, refusing to repent of things you know in your heart that you can resist doing. Remember it also says resist the devil and he shall flee, James 4:7 that is, resist him in Jesus name and lastly, consider what I Peter 1:15,16 says: But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy". My belief is, if God placed that in his Bible it is possible, God bless you. |
