Subject: Joe, baptism required for Lord's Supper? |
Bible Note: Hank, read my post to Joe. The exegesis of being unworthy is having a devisive issue; being a glutton, impatient, prideful; or not judging ourselves. One could say the latter is "unconfessed sin" ... I don't see it in the context. The judging refers to the other four specifics. Not being baptized should preclude me. If the church says one must wait to be baptized, should I have to wait to partake of the Lord's Supper? I was saved when I was four, I had to wait until I was nine to be baptized ... and that was younger han the church wanted. I think it was 12. Again this is a minor issue. I don't push it. I have had interseting reaction when I show what the early church did. Maybe one or both accounts in Acts 16 included children. Searcher |
