AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 7:6 But now we have been released from the Law and its penalty, having died [through Christ] to that by which we were held captive, so that we serve [God] in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter [of the Law]. |
Subject: What do we do with the OT? |
Bible Note: When I first put the question up I was hoping to see some discussion on real life applications... Based on the last two posts by BornTwice and lionheart, is it safe to infer that if my intention is good I can break the law? Let me ask a hypothetical question for you to consider. Let's say I see a poor illegal immigrant family and my heart desires to help them. What if I hire them to work in my company? Here I am breaking the law by hiring illegal immigrants but my heart desires to help out strangers in our land. Is this right thing to do? If not, what is wrong? iktoose |
