AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 7:25 Thanks be to God [for my deliverance] through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind serve the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh [my human nature, my worldliness, my sinful capacity--I serve] the law of sin. |

Bible Note: And AMEN back to you. It is so refreshing to find a list that exhibits some depth of spiritual understanding. I have been involved in so many discussions with people who just do not make the connection. What do you think about the following?: One way I have come to look at our daily walk, and our struggle with our own failures and sins, is through the following acronym: I D I D. -as in "I did". I: Impotence. We must come to the realization that we are totally helpless, and can do nothing on our own. D: Dependance. As a result of our impotence, we must see ourselves utterly dependant upon Him and any good which comes from anything in our lives must come as a result of our complete dependance upon Him. I: Intimacy. In order to maintain any degree of consistancy, we need an intimate relastionship. D: Discipline. It's a long walk, and we learn by, and things get easier and more consistent, through repitition. We need discipline. Anyway, just some ramblings as a result of too much time to think lately...it's been a long winter! Coram Deo, ronz To you: Courage, Strength, Honor, and Unfathomable Grace ps: Someone has well-said: You Can Not Make Faith A Work. |
