Bible Note: Sniper: Not accountable does not mean innocent. I believe that Romans 5:12 teaches that all are born sinners. As you have quoted Rom. 3:23 "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" There is nothing within the human in their natural state which would make them right with God. It is all of God's grace in that he has provided a way whereby those who did not deserve any of his love can be redeemed and made alive in Christ. How does God accept those who cannot accept him because of age or mental competance? God is sovereign and he can save whom he will, he is not answerable to us. As brother cyclist has pointed out there is not much direct scripture on little children. Abraham said "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" The wrath of God is coming against "those who know not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" 2 Thess. 1:8 |
