Subject: The Gospel the sole means of salvation? |
Bible Note: Meusing here, Before Christ God chose Abraham and the Children of Israel to show His name to all men. In Christ he has given the world the church, or rather He has given the Church the world. It is our resposibility that the world HAS the oportunity to hear the Gospel. Think, it was His will that Ninevah (a heathen city) be saved, so he sent Jonah to preach repentance. It was upon Jonah's obedience in preaching repentance that the people of Ninivah repented and God was able to spare them. God uses us to bear the good news. there is life and salvation in no other than Jesus. It is an awsome responsibility, so we should figure out how we are going to present Christ to the lost rather than try to figgure out how God can save them without our obediance. just my meusings. |
