Subject: Born of the water means? |
Bible Note: I'm sorry New Creature. I have heard your belief before, but what you believe, rational as it may sound, and what scripture teaches are two completely different things. Reread 3:6. John 3:6 That which is BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH; and that which is BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT. Water is merely a symbol of cleansing. Christ's blood cleanses the soul of man. I can't remember where it is, but I read a passage somewhere, which compaired the clensing of the earth durring the flood with baptism. If your scenario were the case, why did Christ bleed water when the soldier pierced his side with the spear? GB |
