Bible Question (short): How to get perfect like God is perfect? |
Question (full): Mommapbs! Thanks for your input and prayers in Christ's PERFECT Love! I second that attitude! smile It must be inspiring me by providing me with a perfect seg-way: Isn't God's Love perfect and whole because he loves both the just and the unjust, the perfect and the imperfect? Matthew 5:43-48 If he loved just the just and only the perfect, wd not His Love be half-perfect or partial or half-whole or imperfect or half-just? See what I mean? Therefore, is not God's Love made strong in weakness and perfect in imperfection and whole in unwholesomeness and healthy in sickness and rich in poverty and etc in its opposite-etc, so that when He is foolish, then He is wise, when He is weak, then He is strong, when He is etc, then He is the opposite-etc? smile Here are the scriptures: 2 Corinthians 12 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG. 1 Corinthians 1 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in THE WISDOM OF GOD the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the FOOLISHNESS of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a STUMBLINGBLOCK, and unto the Greeks FOOLISHNESS; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ THE POWER OF GOD, and THE WISDOM OF GOD. 25 Because the FOOLISHNESS OF GOD is wiser than men; and THE WEAKNESS OF GOD is stronger than men. 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen THE FOOLISH things/PEOPLE of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen THE WEAK things/PEOPLE of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And BASE/UNPEDIGREED things/PEOPLE of the world, and things/PEOPLE which/WHO ARE DESPISED, hath God chosen, yea, and things/PEOPLE which are NOTHING/NOBODIES, to bring to nought things that are: What do u think? smile In Perfect Love for u as right and as wrong! giam Love and respect, giam |
