Subject: Did God make snakes? |
Bible Note: Mommapbs! Thanks for your input! Your bottom line is waht I agree with: "Feel free to love snakes . . .in a herpetorium or in a handbag!" But God also says we are to love our enemies, Matthew 5:43-48, and our enemies include Satan, that ole serpent and that wicked spirit in high places, Rev 12:9 and ephesians 6:10-12, whom we are to resist with Love. James 4:7, 1 peter 5:8-9. So based on matthew 7:12: when God commands us to lvoe our enmies, matthew 5:43-48, God must also lvoe his enemy Satan, who also happens to be our enemy too! So we have a common enemy! So as u quoted, God loves without the hypocrisy of telling us to love whom he hates! His Love is genuine for he loves who he tells us to love. To me, the crawling on the belly part of gen 3:14 has to do with Love and Hate: When we hate what we are to lvoe, we are dragging Love on its belly, we are making Love crawl on its belly, and so dragging ourselves and God down! So a hater is crawling even when standing! So to hate who or what we are to lvoe is to spiritually make Love crawl with the maggots of hate when Love shd always be standing and flying high, SoS 2:4 just as to hate who or what God lvoes is to kill love with hate, and so is to murder love, which is why Hatred is the spirit of murder! This is why to hate anyone and then to kill them by killing their life is double murder: the killing of Love by Hate and the killing of life by hate! So too to hate any snake who crawls is to make it doubly crawl: on its belly and on its belly of hate! Is like humiliating someone we hate: make em crawl and hate em too! So as a Serpent, Satan doubly crawls on his belly by hating himself as a creepy-crawler: he is a crawler who is crawling with the ceepy crawling attitude of Hate! But because God curses in Love who/what he loves and blesses in Love who/waht he loves, Levit 26 and deut 28, then when God in Love cursed the serpent, whom he designed to crawl anyway, he was trying to get him to crawl with Love rather than crawl with hate! To crawl with love is to have Love standing even while crawling! So there is big differnce between crawling in Love and crawling in Hate! Because we love babies, we see their crawling with Love! So let us keep that Love standing strong whether we are crawling or sitting or lying down or walking! Hope that helps! Another thing i lvoe about all the people on this forum is that every one seems to be genuinely Bible-based! smile Look fwd to your comments! L and r, giam |
