Bible Note: Hi Andy-It is 5 am in califusa 04 12 02--in vs.7 we come to "wittness" "marturia" which carries a "judicial" connotation and then in vss. 11-12 the word "received." This ,according to Strong's, carries the meaning that the Jews did not-"assume the office"-in vs 11- then it changes in vs 12 to lambano-"to take hold of"--grammaticaly the word is used only as "an alternative in certain tenses" I know this is not the kind of response you seek but it is what I'm being shown in this study.in Him angel-1 |
