Bible Question: could someone please explain this verse to me properly. " o say again- it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Mathew 19: 24 My step dad who is not a christain asked me what it meant....and I wasn't entirely sure...except that its harder for a rich man to realize his need for God b/c his wealth creates a false sense of self-sufficeny/ security. |
Bible Answer: please read Matthew 19:21-22, this should explain why. And the eye of the needle is a gate entrance in the city. |
