Bible Question: i read this and now i am even more confused than ever. so i look at it that our whole basis of belief is even wrong. we all celebrate good friday and he didnt even die then??!! i too always believed in good friday and knew it never added up but never put much thought into it. now what do i do? |
Bible Answer: mikec I is not important which day Jesus died on, what is important is that He died and arose again. His death paid for our sin His resurrection is the proof of the promise of eternal life. Whether Jesus died on Friday or Thursday or even Wednesday is a matter that concerns theologians, the day is not important it is the work that was accomplished on the cross that gives us all hope. Don't concern yourself with things that don't effect eternity only look to Christ and rest in your salvation. EdB |
