AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 5:32 but I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except on grounds of sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery. [Deut 24:1-4; Luke 16:18] |
Subject: married men |
Bible Note: Hello, I am a firm believer that a man marries a woman and that is it!! Divorce shouldn't be an option. But how do you avoid divorce when someone walks out on you? I do not know the answer to this, but I do know and pray that a person's marriage should be based on Him. I have had many opportunities to be married already in my short life. However, I have avoided marriage at every turn until now because of the fact that it was not 'right' in the sense that the situation was not right with God. Christ should be at the foundation, and I pray that this would be so in a future marriage relationship for me as well. Nolan |
