AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 5:32 but I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except on grounds of sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery. [Deut 24:1-4; Luke 16:18] |
Bible Question: what is your response to dating a married man? |
Bible Answer: Hi, I wouldn't reconmend it. What is it going to lead to? Marriage? If he gets a divorce (for any other reason than adultery) and that person marrys him it is adultery. And the Bible says adulterers go to hell. I would not reconmend it. This person is married and shouldn't even think of it. Marriage is binding and is sacred. It makes two people into one. I would classify as a date with a married man as adultery, because the man/woman is probably lusting after the other person. Hope this helps, TOFT |
