Question (full): I don't understand your response. Who said anything about a "secret rapture"? As far as where the rapture theory is substantiated - look at the verses you referenced. In verse 17, "...we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." How then do you interpret this if not the rapture? Assuming there is a rapture then, I'm not sure where it mentions that our bodies will disappear (or be taken up) as is commonly portrayed versus our souls will be taken up - leaving our empty vessels here on earth. |
