Bible Note: You write: "The coming of the Son of Man can be an individual experience in each of our spiritual journeys as well as a collective experience near the end of the age." No, it can't. Your answer is more poetic than scriptural. In all the Bible teaching on the doctrine of the rapture, there is one and only one rapture, one event as described in 1 Thess 4:13-18. I am sincerely glad for the spiritual experiences you've had. God is the God of experience and emotions sometimes are a part of our experience. But to say that there is more than one rapture could mislead babes in Christ or seekers, who are new to the church and the Scriptures. |
