Subject: God and gods? |
Bible Note: I believe just as the inspired word of God states, Jesus reflected the glory of the invisible God to the fullest extent that a perfect man could, the way that Adam was created to do. Jesus proved Satan a liar, vindicated God's sovereignty, and shared in the sanctification of his holy name by his sinless life. Secondarily, he bought us back from the slavery to sin that Adam sold us, so that all those following his steps closely can have the life God purposed for Adam and his offspring. Of course, now Jesus sits at the right hand of God and has been given all authority on heaven and earth until the Messianic Kingdom brings to nothing all of God's enemies. Then he will give that authority back to its rightful owner, the Almighty Jehovah God, and continue subject to his Creator as the perfect example of faith and love through his perfect obedience. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I know my head Jesus would approve as he takes the lead by his submission to his head, God. |
