Bible Note: Greetings Following Him! Thanks for the kind words my friend! As Hank did, I too would like to extend a welcome to the forum. I agree that we should all seek to interact as loving as possible, not only with cultist, but also with one another. There have been many times that I have typed something, and then had to delete it after I carefully considered how it might sound. :-) But, as Hank mentioned, this forum never was designed to be a medium with which cultists could be confronted and or converted. The usual pattern over the years has been for a cultist to get on the forum, post a few times, and then 'run away' when asked to back up his views with Scripture. I pray that every cultist will accept Christ, but I realize that there are other people to consider on a public forum as well. There are new Christians who might be led astray. I do like your idea about limiting the number of people who respond. In the past, we have kind of done that by accident. :-) I think Ralph2 received so many posts because he started out by calling Emmaus names. That will usually get a lot of attention. :-) Even though a cultist may see challenging posts as persecution, I try to stick to Scripture and not get personal. Prayerfully, the Holy Spirit will use God's Word to call them to repentance. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
