AMPLIFIED 2015 | Numbers 33:55 'But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and like thorns in your sides, and they will attack you in the land in which you live. |
Subject: Why the children? |
Bible Note: Inquisitor, Along with all the great references that have already been given, I echo my "Amen!" Personally, I don't relish the fact that infants (as well as severely mentally challenged adults) seem to have no hope, but this is as scripture appears to read. (Perhaps, unbeknownst to us, God has made provision?) But, I digress. Wasn't that the MAIN reason our Messiah HAD to be born of the seed of a virgin and of the Spirit of God? He couldn't have been a sin-free, spotless, faultless sacrifice for humankind had He been conceived of a man and woman. |
