Bible Note: Thanks, My wife and I started attending a "start up church" after we lost our son. She stopped attending about six months ago...about the same time the founding paster decided to leave. He felt his gift was starting up churches and felt God was calling him to move on... He knew about our situation and said for me to call on him at any time but that marriage counseling wasn't his strong suit. I have got to know several of the men there and they all know of my situation but most of them are young and have limited life experience to relate to my situation. This church only meets on Sunday mornings...and has gone through a lot of problems with issues of its founding. I also attend, on Sunday evenings, by my self, a very large church of about 10,000 members which has four repeated services each week...but its hard to get connected with such a large church. I also attend a Christian 12Step Support Group weekly, and its helpful! I have other brothers that I can call on for support when needed to process situations as they occur. One of them is a christian counsler who is wealthy and retired and doesn't charge money for his time. I'm also looking for another smaller church for my boys...we visited another church last weekend and its seems to be a good place for the children but doesn't have the meat that I am needing. The larger church is where I get fed!!! Please remember us in your prayers!!! |
