Subject: Is 'Pneuma' really feminine? |
Bible Note: Greetings Gbennett76! I did not say that 'Pneuma' was neutul (sic)! I said that it was neuter. Greek nouns have three gender forms, masculine, feminine, and neuter. They each have their own very specific forms. A neuter noun is not feminine. You made the case in your first post that 'pneuma' was feminine, and that this was an indication that 'pneuma' referred to the goddess 'sophia'. This point was false, therefore, the entire arguement based upon this premise is also false. You may spin the statement however you want, but it does not 'reaffirm' your point! :-( What it does indicate is that the sources you are using to build this 'theology' upon are in error on a very simple and basic point of grammar. Why would you then trust them on anything else? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
