Bible Question:
Mat 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' Mat 5:28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. I have a question for these two verses. Is it possible that Jesus is saying that you shouldnt even look at your own wife lustfully? Becouse he just says a "woman". Cant that mean any woman? Im not married but i have a "friend" and if i cant look at her lustfully, im afraid i can never be in a relationship, ever. |
Bible Answer: All that our Lord is saying here, is the same as, "All have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God". All men including the writer of this post, whether married, or single, whether saved, or unsaved look upon women to lust after them, Just as all women look upon men to lust after them also. What is more all of you know that this to be true. ebrain. |
