Bible Note: Selfish motive ? God made the woman to be mans partner, right ? And if only Jesus can satisfy my true spiritual needs, why would i need a partner ? In ecclesiastes 7:26 And I find something more bitter than death: the woman whose heart is snares and nets, and whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God escapes her, but the sinner is taken by her. Im a sinner trying to please God. But the reason i try to "get to know" a woman is first and foremost friendship, not lust. But the lust seems inevetable and then it feels like she takes Gods place. |
