Subject: Alleged changes in the NKJV |
Bible Note: Greetings Bruce! I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but you have been repeatedly asked 'changes' and 'deletions' from what? Yet, you have not answered. Is it different from the KJV? Yes! Is is more in line with the actual Greek manuscripts? Yes! So, which one really has more 'changes' and 'deletion' - and I might add 'additions'. The KJV is not as accurate as the newer translations when compared with the actual manuscripts. The NKJV is different from the KJV, but more faithful to the originals. But, even the NKJV is not nearly as faithful to the orginals as translations like NASB or even the NIV. Once again, if you would provide specific examples, we could discuss them in light of the actual mansucripts. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
