Subject: Can prayer change perfect will of God? |
Bible Note: Hi Cheri, That's right, nothing we can do will change the perfect will, purpose and plans of our all sovereign God. But yet, He tells us to pray. Look at it this way if you will, a child of a loving and attentive mother will have their needs met, but she still loves to here the child ask please. It's more about our relationship, I think, then it's about changing what God has planed to do. It's important for us to just trust God, sort of like an infant instinctively knows that it will find food at it's mothers breast, although it doesn't understand it, it just somehow trusts. Luke 18:17 "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all. God bless :-) John |
