Bible Question: Is it correct state that:'no prayer can make God do anything against His perfect will? |
Bible Answer: We are told from the bible that God desires a relationship with us. In reading in Genesis you will see the relationship He has with Adam and Eve and if you follow that through you will see how He keeps covenant, we call it a legal, binding agreement. The bible is full of stories of how the Creator desires a relationship with His creation and how He loves us. He also tells us about His Son who He sent to die for us so that we could have a relationship with Him. He sent His Son to rescue us and deliver us from the bondage we have in sin and death to give us eternal life and peace in Him. He desires that we love and trust and obey Him. When we do that our will conforms to His will. I would suggest you start a study program on "How to Pray" by Kay Arthur and get a copy of the NASB Inductive Study Bible that has instructions at the beginning of each chapter helping you to study the bible and understand its meaning. Hope this helps. |
