Bible Note: CDBJ, your post to my defense, which included this phrase, “Jesus had more trouble with those that followed the mixed up traditions of the Jew more then any other group!” MADE my day. Thank you. Those verses ring so true. It causes me to wonder why the rest of those on this “Bible Study Forum” can’t see that also. Phil. 3:8-9: “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, NOT having mine own righteousness, WHICH IS OF THE LAW, BUT that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness WHICH IS OF GOD BY FAITH.” I heartily agree with you. There is no Jew, no Gentile to God, since the NEW freedom, purchased by Christ’s blood, replaced the OLD LAW and all its traditions. Thanks again. And I intend to have a great day, and weekend. :) Taleb |
