Subject: Heaven is our home. |
Bible Note: EdB greetings, you mentioned in your post, Rev. 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. It would appear that you were disputing Aspilos and saying that Rev. 21:21 is a reference to heaven. I think if one were to search it out that there are actually 3 different heavens mentioned in the Bible. The way I see it Rev. 21:2 say that it is a city, coming down from God, out of heaven. Rev. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I believe that this is the city that Abraham was looking looking for but never found. Hebrews 11:9-10 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: [10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
