Subject: Homosexuality and Christianity? |
Bible Note: Greetings gpaulturner, Nowhere in the Bible does it even hint at the possibility that David and Jonathan or Ruth and Naomi had homosexual relations. Nowhere in the Bible are such "relations" between the same sex praised in any way! The Bible strictly condemns homosexuality, and no one who commits homosexuality will enter into the kingdom of heaven. (1 Cor. 6:9-10) Homosexuals are not Christians. Homosexuality is NOT a result of genes or of ancestry, but it is a result of sin (Romans 1:24-27) that was worthy of death (Leviticus 18:22; 20:13). This is a sin of such depravity that the offenders are "proud" of the sin that they commit (Psalm 12:8) and are a disgrace to the eyes of God (Psalm 52:1-4). Homosexuality is a sin that needs repentence of. Even this sin, in all its perversion, will be forgiven by God, if those who commit it will turn to a faith in Christ and receive the ultimate cleansing for their sins. Blessings to you, Nolan |
