Subject: Who else besides Cain, Adam, and Eve? |
Bible Note: Greetings Coverless Veil! I have to join with Joe in denouncing Christian Science as a cult. It's teaching are simply not true, and are not in accordance with the teachings of Scripture. To summarize from Walter Martin's, "Kingdom of the Cults", Christian Science denies the following Christian doctrines: 1) The inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture. 2) The Triune nature of God. 3) The incarnation of Christ. 4) The efficacy of the blood of Christ to atone for sins. 5) The death and resurrection of Christ. 6) The ascension and second coming of Christ. 7) The existance of Satan. 8) The existance of Hell. 9) The reality of Heaven. 10) The power of prayer. 11) The existence of Sin, sickness, and death. Now, if you would like, we could go through point by point and compare what Christian Science teaches with what the Bible teaches. What we will find is that they are not the same. Mary Baker Eddy simply promoted a new form of gnoticism, and she even plagarized someone else at that. The measure of truth is the Bible, not how we feel or what we claim to have seen. Thus, I would encourage you to examine everything in light of God's Word as the only source of truth. If you do, you will find that Christian Science is a lie! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
