Bible Question: Were there any other people in the beginning besides Cain, Adam, and Eve? Of course, I am omitting the slain Abel. Genesis mentions that whoever slays Cain will reap the Lord's vengeance sevenfold. But it doesn't say anything about anyone else being around to slay him. Am I missing something? |
Bible Answer: There are many other beings that were there. There is no mentioned that it must be another man who can kill Cain. It could have been animals, giants etc. The proof of having the above mentioned beings existence are in: Genesis 2:19, it is mentioned "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; ..." Genesis 6:4, it is mentioned "There were giants in the earth in those days; ..." |
