Bible Note: Dear FTK, Welcome to the forum! You wrote, "I have looked up 22000 greek words over my 28 year study of the Bible." (sic) That must have taken a great deal of disciplined effort. Did you do this study on your own, or under the tutelage of others? Did you compile this list, so that you can be certain of the figure you give? Study is a uniquely cognitive activity. The Bible is a textual revelation. Although few of us here have had the benefits of a 28 year study, we might talk about the doctrine of the verbal plenary inspiration of the Bible to some advantage. Yet, you should know, that this forum is founded on the principle sola Scriptura -- per the explicit wishes of our gracious host. (To which doctrine you committed yourself to when you created your SBF profile.) Among other things, the doctrine of sola Scriptura fundamentally denies that knowledge arises from emotion. The Word -- as you will know from your study -- presupposes a rationality from which our feelings ought to give rise. The contrary belief, emotionalism, cannot be supported from Scripture.
