81 | judgement day | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 116957
You are correct that Christ died already for our sins, but we have to repent and received Him as our personal saviour before we can received our salvation. John 14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. We have to do the Will of His Father, as Christ said those who do the Will of His Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Matt 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. But for those adulterers murderer thier part is in the lake of fire. Rev 21:8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." What will happened are Christ will judge us according to our works, if our name will not found there, our part will be in the lake of fire which is the second death. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Rev 20:14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. God bless, |

82 | Holy Spirit | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 73122
The Holy Spirit is there even in the very start of creation. Ge 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Christ can heal because He is God, He created everything and He is life. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. He is the Way the Truth and the Life" John 14:6 Quote" yet the blind man was able to see eventhough the Holy Spirit was not made available at that time until the day of apentecost." It is God who kill and heal, it is the Father the Son and Holy Spirit De 32:39 ¶ See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. So it wrong to say that the Holy Spirit is not available. He is there even in the very start of creation. God bless, |

83 | Some people say thousand of years past | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 76379
Biblicaly speaking it was the first day. Ge 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Ge 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. But how do we know, how long is that one day, is that one day of our present day count? 2Pe 3:8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. His day could be thousand years for us, but how do we know. God bless, |

86 | how many crowns are ther | Gen 1:26 | jlpangilinan | 23604
Lovinggod, The apostles speak of the incorruptible crown, the crown of life (Jas 1:12; Re 2:10) "that fadeth not away" (1Pe 5:4, Gr. amarantinos; comp. 1Pe 1:4). Probably the word "amaranth" was applied to flowers we call "everlasting," the "immortal amaranth." Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. The crown of life is to be with Jesus Christ in Heaven forever and ever Amen. I hope it would helps God bless, Johnny |

87 | Where is the Loving God???? | Gen 1:26 | jlpangilinan | 59499
God is love, this is the reason why He created us to share with His glory. There are people that really dont want to believed that Gos is love. For those who dont want to believed they have a lot of reason for themselves not to believed. God created us in His own image! God is a complete God even without us! but He created us to share with his glory. When God created us, He created us with power over dominion all over the eart, the sickness and other sufferrings is not included when He created us. Ge 1:26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. When God created heavens and earth and us, the sufferings is not there only good things. 1:31 ¶ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. But when man commit disobedience the sufferrings comes Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Ge 3:16 ¶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. This world is full of sufferings because the god of this world is evil 2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. We have to go out of this world: 1Co 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. God love us more than the angels, if we realize when satan fall God never sent His son to save them, but when man fall He sent His begotten Son to save us. The happinnes that promises to us christian is not in this world, but it will happen just wait: Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 88 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | jlpangilinan | 100957
He will not grown old if he did not eat the forbidden fruit. He will live forever if He did not fell. God created adam in His own images and likeness. Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. The sickness and death only came in after the fell. Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Ge 3:16 ¶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 16. Easton Torrey Ge 3:17 ¶ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; After the fell of man the sickness and death comes in this is the reason why God drove them away from eden because if they eat the tree of life they will leave forever. God knew that if they leave forever with sickness it is very hard. Imagine if you have cancer and live for eternity Ge 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: God bless, |

89 | What does God say on birth control? | Gen 1:28 | jlpangilinan | 126187
The Bible silent in Birth control Ge 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Ge 9:1 ¶ And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. Those two verses always came out if somebody will discuss birth control. But as you can see they given to Adam and eve, Noah and his sons. In the time of adam, they were only two human being in earth the time. That commandments are very applicable to them, the same in the time of noah, they are only 8 souls survive the flood, again the commandments are very applicable and specific only for them. How can we make sure that those verse is only for them? There are commandments in the Bible that given in general, there are also commandments that given specifically. For example when God give commandments to Noah to build the ark it is very sure that commandments is not for us.The same with the commandments of "multiply" If we consider that all commandments in the Bible are given in general, we also must build ark for example. Birth control are the problem the our country has, (Philippines) we have many countrymen live below poberty lines. hundred thousand if not Million live in smokey mountain (garbage mountain) but then the survey results that most families live there has at least 7 or eight children. When our garbage mountain collaps because of the rain, hundreds died. Do we think, "multiply still applicable today? NO. If have children but you cannot provide them the things they need, you sin against the Lord. 2Co 12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 92 | CHAPTER 6 LORD SAID AND 9 GOD SAID | Gen 2:3 | jlpangilinan | 27678
Easton Bible Dictionay Entry: Lord There are various Hebrew and Greek words so rendered. (1.) Heb Jehovah, has been rendered in the English Bible LORD, printed in small capitals. This is the proper name of the God of the Hebrews. The form "Jehovah" is retained only in Ex 6:3; Ps 83:18; Isa 12:2; 26:4, both in the Authorized and the Revised Version. God (A.S. and Dutch God; DA Gud; Ger. Gott), the name of the Divine Being. It is the rendering (1) of the Hebrew 'El, from a word meaning to be strong; (2) of 'Eloah, plural 'Elohim. The singular form, Eloah, is used only in poetry. The plural form is more commonly used in all parts of the Bible, The Hebrew word Jehovah (q.v.), the only other word generally employed to denote the Supreme Being, is uniformly rendered in the Authorized Version by "LORD," printed in small capitals. The existence of God is taken for granted in the Bible. There is nowhere any argument to prove it. He who disbelieves this truth is spoken of as one devoid of understanding (Ps 14:1). The arguments generally adduced by theologians in proof of the being of God are: (1.) The a priori argument, which is the testimony afforded by reason. (2.) The a posteriori argument, by which we proceed logically from the facts of experience to causes. These arguments are, (a) The cosmological, by which it is proved that there must be a First Cause of all things, for every effect must have a cause. (b) The teleological, or the argument from design. We see everywhere the operations of an intelligent Cause in nature. (c) The moral argument, called also the anthropological argument, based on the moral consciousness and the history of mankind, which exhibits a moral order and purpose which can only be explained on the supposition of the existence of God. Conscience and human history testify that "verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth." The attributes of God are set forth in order by Moses in Ex 34:6-7. (see also De 6:4; 10:17; Nu 16:22; Ex 15:11; 33:19; Isa 44:6; Hab 3:6; Ps 102:26; Job 34:12.) They are also systematically classified in Re 5:12; 7:12. God's attributes are spoken of by some as absolute, i.e., such as belong to his essence as Jehovah, Jah, etc.; and relative, i.e., such as are ascribed to him with relation to his creatures. Others distinguish them into communicable, i.e., those which can be imparted in degree to his creatures: goodness, holiness, wisdom, etc.; and incommunicable, which cannot be so imparted: independence, immutability, immensity, and eternity. They are by some also divided into natural attributes, eternity, immensity, etc.; and moral, holiness, goodness, etc. Seven This number occurs frequently in Scripture, and in such connections as lead to the supposition that it has some typical meaning. On the seventh day God rested, and hallowed it (Ge 2:2-3). The division of time into weeks of seven days each accounts for many instances of the occurrence of this number. This number has been called the symbol of perfection, and also the symbol of rest. "Jacob's seven years' service to Laban; Pharaoh's seven fat oxen and seven lean ones; the seven branches of the golden candlestick; the seven trumpets and the seven priests who sounded them; the seven days' siege of Jericho; the seven churches, seven spirits, seven stars, seven seals, seven vials, and many others, sufficiently prove the importance of this sacred number" (see Le 25:4; 1Sa 2:5; Ps 12:6; 79:12; Pr 26:16; Isa 4:1; Mt 18:21-22; Lu 17:4). The feast of Passover (Ex 12:15-16), the feast of Weeks (De 16:9), of Tabernacles (De 13:15), and the Jubilee (Le 25:8), were all ordered by seven. Seven is the number of sacrifice (2Ch 29:21; Job 42:8), of purification and consecration (Le 27:34,34; 8:11,33; 14:9,51), of forgiveness (Mt 18:21-22; Lu 17:4), of reward (De 28:7; 1Sa 2:5), and of punishment (Le 26:21,24,28; De 28:25). It is used for any round number in such passages as Job 5:19; Pr 26:16,25; Isa 4:1; Mt 12:45. It is used also to mean "abundantly" (Ge 4:15,24; Le 26:24; Ps 79:12). |

God indeed teach not to kill, steal and other crimes, but people do. Adam and eve warned by God not to eat the fruit but disobeyed. It is there heart they obey and not God that is why the had many wives even God commanded them to have one: Ge 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Even the divorce is not required in israel but because of the hardness of thier heart moses has to put guidelines on it: Mt 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? Mt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. You and me having our FREE WILL can have many concuvines if you want whether it is legal or illegal no one will stop you for doing that, God has a reminder for that but not stoping you physically. No! Adam was the first man whom God created, and eve was the mother of all living. Adam was absolutely the first man whom God created. He was formed out of the dust of the earth (and hence his name), and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and gave him dominion over all the lower creatures (Ge 1:26; 2:7). 98 | who were Noah's parents? | Gen 5:1 | jlpangilinan | 74273
It was Lamech Noah rest, (Heb Noah) the grandson of Methuselah (Ge 5:25-29), who was for two hundred and fifty years contemporary with Adam, and the son of Lamech, who was about fifty years old at the time of Adam's death. This patriarch is rightly regarded as the connecting link between the old and the new world. He is the second great progenitor of the human family. The words of his father Lamech at his birth (Ge 5:29) have been regarded as in a sense prophetical, designating Noah as a type of Him who is the true "rest and comfort" of men under the burden of life (Mt 11:28). 99 | Who besides Elijah entered heaven bodily | Gen 5:1 | jlpangilinan | 75651
Although the Bible mentioned that Enoch and Elijah not seeing death all of them died in faith as paul said. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: It is appointed unto mean once to die. If Enoch did not really died, this passages is wrong, as we all know Bible will not contradict itself. Paul explain how this people died in faith: Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, (paul is referring to Enoch, Elijah and those people that walked with God) not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Apostle John, has his own assessment that no man hath seen God in any time, if Enoch and Elijah really in Heaven of course they will see God: Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Apostle John also wrote that: Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. "and no man hath ascended up to heaven," John referring the word "heaven" as the Kingdom of God. The question maybe may arise, but it was written, Elijah was brought to heaven by the chariot of fire. 2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. The heaven meantion there is not the House of God, otherwise his son will complete wrote that He God receiving Elijah. Elisha, probably refer "heaven" as the firmanent: According to the Jewish notion there were three heavens, (a) The firmament, as "fowls of the heaven" (Ge 2:19; 7:3,23; Ps 8:8, etc.), "the eagles of heaven" (La 4:19), etc. (b) The starry heavens (De 17:3; Jer 8:2; Mt 24:29). (c) "The heaven of heavens," or "the third heaven" (De 10:14; 1Ki 8:27; Ps 115:16; 148:4; 2Co 12:2). God bless, |
