Bible Question: "The Bible declares that the wages of sin is death". Do you think Adam would have grown old if he had not sinned? Be thinking before you answer because this is not an easy question to answer. I guarantee it will challenge you if you have an open mind and are seeking God as Father....That last line is a hint. |
Bible Answer: He will not grown old if he did not eat the forbidden fruit. He will live forever if He did not fell. God created adam in His own images and likeness. Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. The sickness and death only came in after the fell. Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Ge 3:16 ¶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 16. God knew that if they leave forever with sickness it is very hard. Imagine if you have cancer and live for eternity Ge 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: God bless, |
