521 | Please explain this "pure blood line". | 2 Pet 2:4 | Pastor Glenn | 97018
DL5, Adam was the man created in chapters 1, as well as, in chapter 2. This is not two separate creation stories. Prior to Genesis 1:1 there was God, not man, not woman. I am somewhat offended by gap theories and pure and unpure bloodline theories, because these were used by the KKK and other racist to explain thier racism. If we fail to remember history, we are destined to repeat it. Pastor Glenn |

523 | Can homosexuals receive salvation? | 1 John 1:9 | Pastor Glenn | 103811
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Of course he can still receive God's forgiveness. This is not the unforgivable sin. You should also read the entire Psalm 51. |

524 | Is the "new man" sinless? | 1 John 3:9 | Pastor Glenn | 144310
Hello MJ Head, "my question is, how could that which is born of God be even capable of sin? " 1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. That which is born of God is "spirit". The new man consists only of the spirit of the three part man. We are "spirit", "soul", and physical "body". The natural physical body will sin. It has selfish carnal beastly desires. It cannot be saved. The "soul" must choose daily to walk after the "spirit" because the spirit cannot sin since it has been born of the Holy Spirit. Whenever the soul chooses to walk after the flesh, we sin. On the other hand, whenever the soul chooses to walk after the spirit, we cannot sin. I liken this to choosing to drive one of 2 cars that we may own. The fleshly vehicle will lead to death and destruction. But, the spiritual vehicle (putting on the new man Eph 4:24) leads to life everlasting. Again, this is a daily choice by the believer. I included the scriptures that you cited: 1Jo 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jo 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

526 | Why this is not taught? | 1 John 3:9 | Pastor Glenn | 144981
Hello MJH, "The topic of the two natures has been discussed on this forum so much that most don’t want to rehash it again. Type in, (old sin nature) or (new nature), in the search box and click search: you can spend hours reading what the folks on this form understand about the two natures. " CDBJ MJH, I see a lot of posts come up from entering "old sin nature". Have you tried it? I am not sure that, as you say, "nearly all commentators and most pasters do not teach this aspect of the new birth". Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

527 | Why this is not taught? | 1 John 3:9 | Pastor Glenn | 145102
Hello Brother Tim, "Romans 6 doesn't teach two natures residing together, but the death of the old man." Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Does'nt these verses indicate a choice for the Christian to yield to God (walk after the spirit) rather than to walk after the flesh? I thought that the word "carnal" would be useful in this study. After performing a search using the word carnal here is what I got: Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 15:27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. 1Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 1Corinthians 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 1Corinthians 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Is'nt carnality the same as being babes in Christ? Heb 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Does'nt these scriptures indicate a struggle within the Christian; Sprit vs Flesh? Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

528 | Why this is not taught? | 1 John 3:9 | Pastor Glenn | 145116
Hello Brother Tim, "I'm not sure that they present so much a struggle as a choice." Maybe. :o) But isn't a carnal Christian struggling in his choices between flesh and spirit? "This would certainly indicate to me that while a believer can give into the flesh, he is no longer a slave to it." Yes, but for how long can a believer give in to the flesh before he is considered a slave to it; a moment, a month, or a few years? I motion that the scriptures are showing that we are the slaves of sin each and every time that we choose to walk after the flesh: Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 529 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141233
How do we know that we are truly saved? Are there any scriptures that tell us if we are saved? If so, please tell me what they are. Just because I am a pastor does not mean that I really know the right answers. So do not see this as a test that I will grade. :-) Honestly, I do not feel that these questions are discussed enough, so I will not respond except to clarify or ask followup questions. Any comments? 530 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141563
Wow Doc, that is a great twist to the question: "How do we know that we love God?" In other words, we can truly know that we are saved by how much we love Jesus. Here is a relevant scripture: 2Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. |

531 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141632
Hello mommapbs! "Greeting Pastor Glenn, Doc and Aixen7z4, - I'd like your input on Incarnational reality (Col 1:27) and practicing the presence of God in our daily lives - I suspect this might be a corollary to "loving His appearing" as mentioned earlier in this thread. I liked the article Doc linked to - How do I know I love God? “ OK Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: “We read in John 14 that loving Jesus is obeying Him - to me this has the potential for becoming legalistic or "religious". I suspect that obeying Him without the love that He demands (Love the Lord your God with all your heart - what does this look like?)is often lacking in our "works."“ Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. This does have the potential to become legalistic if we have the wrong “commandments”. I believe that Jesus was not referring to the Law of Moses. Instead, He must be referring to the Law of Love or the Golden Rule. Luk 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Luk 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 1Timothy 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 1John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1John 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. 2John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 1John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: “I've been thinking about "Incarnational reality" for a while now . . . How does the presence of Christ IN us affect our thoughts and actions (or how should it?). . . Unlike David, we need not long for His presence for He is always with us - yet in the dark night of the soul, I admit I have felt pretty alone . . . If He is IN Me and I am in Him - what causes me to think that He is absent at those dark times? Is practicing the presence of God (ie Br. Lawrence)the answer? What scriptures support this? Comments?” Br. Lawrence? Christ in us affects our thoughts and actions to seek to please Him because of our great love for Him. Without faith is impossible to please Him. Therefore, we walk after the Spirit by faith (not by sight) in His word and we love our neighbor as ourselves because this is the number one fruit of the Spirit. We find ourselves with hunger and thirst for the Word of God, because we come to realize, by Him living in us, that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. Mommapbs, you mentioned: “…in the dark night of the soul, I admit I have felt pretty alone . . . If He is IN Me and I am in Him - what causes me to think that He is absent at those dark times? “ Our feelings can be deceiving. Feelings do not change reality. I can feel that I am 20 years old again, but that does not change the reality that I am actually 20 plus 26. I can also feel alone while in the same room with another person. If I have a strong relationship with that person, then I should feel less lonely. In the case of feeling alone with Jesus, it may be due to not fully trusting Him to really care about our feelings. But here is a scripture that should help: Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

532 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141635
hello mommapbs, With all of my long response, I may have missed the heart of you question: "I suspect that obeying Him without the love that He demands (Love the Lord your God with all your heart - what does this look like?)is often lacking in our "works."“ Well, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart" is when we have no hangups in our love. We need to realize that He made us and therefore understands all of our needs and thoughts better than us. It also involves gaining a trust in Him that His plans for us are far better than our plans for ourselves: Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Psalms 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Matthew 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. 2Chronicles 9:6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard. 1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 533 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141651
"... We can do nothing on our own, not even love the Lord as He has commanded!..." Yes, and not only that, but sometimes the Spirit has to make intercession for us: Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. It is so good to know that God has even our deepest thoughts and prayers covered. Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

534 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141770
Hello Russ, "While there is good in all of the Scriptures, there is more to Christianity than just the scriptures. We mustn’t get lost in that. ...." Here is more scripture: 2 Tim 3 16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:15 (New King James Version) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. You are right, there is more to Christianity than the scriptures, but that is like saying that there is more to a house than just a foundation. Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

535 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141774
Dear brother Russ, Please understand why we are harping on the importance of scripture. Do you understand the danger in minimizing the importance of scripture? Do you realize how your statements are being perceived? I am sure that you have heard of the church denomination that chose a homosexual man to the office of Bishop. Well, that decision came a few years after they began to minimize the importance of the Holy Scriptures. You must understand the danger here: 2 Tim 3 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 536 | How do we know that we are truly saved? | 1 John 3:24 | Pastor Glenn | 141812
Hello again Russ, I have been misunderstood in the past, so I know it is a bad feeling. Are we misunderstanding you here? After reading your profile, I think that I now have a better understanding of your view of the scriptures. I think that what you have been trying to say is that since God has done so much for you, He is more to you than all that you have learned from scripture so far. I may be wrong, so correct me. Also, your gratitude to Him and your fellowship with Him is on-going; a continuing fellowship that is difficult to express by quoting scripture. The "warm fussy" feeling is from feeling unworthy of the great miracle as He brought you back to life. You indeed have a high regard for scripture, but since you know Him and communicate personally with Him through prayer and study ... Am I on the right track here about you? 537 | Pray Please for Her Soul - Diana | 1 John 4:2 | Pastor Glenn | 156980
Hello happyandfree, If you haven't already, You should ask your friend why the Jahovah's Witnesses do not focus on this scripture at 1 John 4:2. The name Jehovah is what they like to use to differentiate themselves from other Christians. And because of that, they are not really Christians. Please see my question at ID# 92778. Aren't "Jahovah's" Witnesses anti-Christ or else they would be called "Jesus Christ" Witnesses? Also, since they say that a God of "Love" will not bring everlasting punishment that makes them false prophets: Jer 14 15Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say, "Sword and famine shall not be in this land'--"By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed! The focus of the Watchtower and Tract Society on the name "Jehovah" is totally misplaced emphasis. The scriptures already have the emphasis on the name of the Son! Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." The great conspiracy of Satan is really the "spirit of anti-Christ", not "anti-Jehovah". Scripture emphasizes a conspiracy against the Son (Anti-Christ)? 1 John 4 2By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3and every spirit that does not confess that[1] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. How does the NWT render the above scripture? Also ask her if she agrees that the doctrine of the trinity "does not" teach that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are "one person"? However, they are "one God", but also three eternally distinct persons. The bible is clear that there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved. John 3 18"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Ask her if she believes that you can be saved by the name Jehovah or by the name of Jesus Christ? Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

538 | Is Jesus Christ God? Is He your Lord? | 1 John 4:2 | Pastor Glenn | 157103
Hello deep input, You wrote: “Verses 8-11, however, say not to call anybody rabbi(pastor), father, master. Is it ok to ignore this because we feel in our hearts that it is ok to call people pastor or father. “ You equate rabbi and pastor. But the bible or dictionary does not. Why did you throw that (pastor) into the scripture? Mat 23 8 "But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9 "Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 "Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. 11 "But the greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 "Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. rabbi n 1: spiritual leader of a Jewish congregation; qualified to expound and apply Jewish law 2: a Hebrew title of respect for a Jewish scholar or teacher Pastor 1: A Christian minister or priest having spiritual charge over a congregation or other group. 2: A layperson having spiritual charge over a person or group. 3: A shepherd. You do not need to call me “pastor”, “brother” will do just fine. I have a question for you too. Is Jesus Christ God? Is He your Lord? Brother Glenn |

539 | Is Jesus Christ God? Is He your Lord? | 1 John 4:2 | Pastor Glenn | 157134
Hello deep input, You wrote: “Do I believe Jesus is God. I believe Jesus is God's Son, I believe Jesus is my King, Savior, and friend.” It appears that you have quit a dilemma. You accept Jesus as your King and Lord, but not as your God. This is the same dilemma that all followers of the Watchtower and Tract Society face when they read the scriptures by the Watchtower’s teachings. On one hand, you are taught that the name Jehovah is the most important name in the holy scriptures. On the other hand, you know that the scriptures say that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Him. Also, you know that there is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved. “I will serve him with the best of my abilities. I am sad that I have not done this better, but that is what I desire to do. All I know to do is trust the Bible and in John 14:28 Jesus says that the father is greater then himself. From my own understanding which I do not trust, but all I have right now, I don't believe God would call Himself the Son of Man. “ From reading this along with your other posts that question God’s favoritism of some biblical patriots over others, I see that you lack the security of your salvation that only comes from faith in knowing Jesus as God. Hebrews chapter 11 shows that it was faith that made the difference. But faith in what? Jacob wrestled with someone that he thought was a man, but he later said that he had seen God face to face and lived: Gen 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. Abram also believed the Gospel of Jesus Christ: Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. Jesus himself could have said that we should search the scriptures because they testify of Jehovah. But no. Instead, He said that they testify of Him (Jesus): John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. “I believe Jesus was sent by his father to this world to save it. Jesus is now, and rightfully so, sitting at the Father's right hand. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is my Lord!!“ God has said that He will not share His glory with another, but He shared it with His Son at the transfiguration of Christ. John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 48:11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Was anyone in the bible ever rebuked for worshipping Christ? Deep input, it is OK to worship your Savior Jesus Christ. 1John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. “Now, a question for you. Do you consider yourself a new testament levite? “ No sir. 1Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1Jo 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1Jo 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Brother Glenn |

540 | Is it mt 26:60-61 happening today? | 1 John 4:2 | Pastor Glenn | 157143
Hello deep input, You asked Is Mat 26:60-61 happening today? Yes it is happenning by Anti-Christ groups like the Jehovahs witnesses. I will try to explain. You wrote: “Hello Brother Glenn, I m not currently a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. I have study with them. I have studied with the Mormons. I was baptised as a baptist. I spent many years in a non-denominational church. There are many people who are like the false witnesses spoken of in mt 26:60-61. They say thing about the Jehovah Witnesses that they really dont know any thing about. And, I will say that in all my searching, they are walking closer to the bible than any other group.” Deep impact, please pay close attention to 1 John 4. It tells us who are closer to the bible ways. Ask yourself why it speaks of those that confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. Ask yourself why the Son of Man could forgive sins. Ask why He was Lord of the Sabbath. Why would He be allowed to wear the title of “King of Kings and Lord of Lords“. Mat 26:60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, Mat 26:61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. 1. They deny the deity of Christ. The false witnesses of Mat 26:60 are of anti-Christ spirit. The Jehovah’s witnesses are anti-Christ also for the same reason that is spoken of in 1John 4, as well as, 1Cor 12:3. 1Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 2. They also deny the personhood of the Holy Ghost. Why would blasphemy against the Holy Ghost be unpardonable if He is not a person. 3. They deny everlasting punishment of the wicked. “You talked of Jacob seeing God. I read this too. What does John 1:18 mean? Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. “…and in acts 7:30 Stephen says that an Angel of the Lord appeared to Moses. Is God also an Angel?” Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? “Haggar talked with the Angel of the Lord. This Angel had the authority to multiply her descendants exceedingly. (gen 16:7-13) God is spirit John 4:24. As far having eternal security, phil 2:12 tells me to work out my salvation with fear and trembling. If all of our sins past, present and future have already been forgiven, why would we need to confess them has 1 John 1:9 states.” Gen 16:10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. “I believe that the council of Nicea is a major heresy (leaven) that has corrupted the church. Also please see the notes on this web site concerning 1 John 5:7. That teaching comes from the council of nicea and has levened the whole loaf to the point of this verse being added to the Bible and worse people saying it is ok because it is the truth. Is it?” Well, aren’t we commanded to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost? Do you consider that command a heresy too? Brother Glenn |
