Dear jbagwell, You state,"Of t he 404 verses in Revelation, only 126 contain no allusion to the old testament." Please provide the source for this information. Also, please tell me one of the 126 verses in Revelation that does not allude to the OT? Bless you, Love Fountain Rev 1:1-3 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. 22 | Please disprove rapture theory!? | Bible general Archive 1 | Love Fountain | 41614
Dear conlan4k, You ask,"Can someone show me where I can prove that we will not fly up into the sky ?" Please read the following verse, Ezek 13:20 20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. KJV Some people believe the above verse tells that God is not happy with those who teach people to fly to save their souls and that He will take back the souls. Unfortunately some will fly by their own choice but rest assured they will be taken back as God states in the above verse. You also ask,"I would like to know where I can find the scripture that says we will be brought before satan and we need to let the holy spirit speak through us." Scripture in the following verses doesn't directly say satan, but who is the one deceiving the whole world, are they not the ones(the ones deceived) who receive a testimony from the Holy Spirit through people chosen by God. Matt 10:17-20 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. KJV Mark 13:9-11 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. KJV There is definitely going to be a testimony in which the Holy Spirit is going to talk through people based on the above verses. I believe Christians are being weakened by believing they will not have to be here on earth through the tribulation. Bless you, Love Fountain Rev 9:4 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. Dear angel1, Please don't forget the Love. Matt 22:37-39 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. KJV I pray thay the Father shows you that standing with the Lord Jesus is not condemnation of fellow brothers and sisters in the body of Christ looking for words of hurt and false accusation. Jesus is not an accuser of those who seek His will and a student of the Bible knows where the spirit of accusation comes from. In the name of Jesus I believe you need a hug so the evil that you have been exposed to can run back where it came from and leave you alone to drink of the water of life, The Word of God and be cleansed. Bless you, Love Fountain Eph 5:26-32 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 24 | What do we know about Satan? | Ps 109:6 | Love Fountain | 41161
Dear Hank, Many times in Scripture, students of the Bible are commanded to be obedient to the words of the Text. One such commandment is found in Matt 10:6, where we as students are directed to be wise as serpents, and within this commandment for obedience I find many opinions within the very pages of Scripture to answer a great question you have asked. A question that surprises me not to have had more participants, confirming the very real and visible existence of satan in our surrounding daily world. Satan is allowed to have many things which I believe can be answered primarily through the questions you have asked as follows, origin ----------- created by God Eze 28:15 nature ----------- a covering cherub Eze 28:16 powers ----------- wisdom - full of wisdom Eze 28:12; subtilty 2Cor 11:3 power - by the power of his brightness his wisdom is corrupted Eze 28:17; satan also has power to deceive by his subtilty 2Cor 11:3; satan offers Jesus power Luke 4:6 riches -every precious stone as a covering Eze 28:13; satan promises the world in a false promise to Jesus Luke 4:7 strength - strength can be seen in the ability to walk amongst the stones of fire Eze 28:14 or being perfect in his ways Eze 28:15; strength in the abillity to show Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time from the top of a mountain Luke 4:5 honour - annointed cherub Eze 28:14; called a king Rev 9:11 glory - heart lifted because of his own beauty Eze28:17; transformed into an angel of light 2Cor 11:14 Characteristics --------------------- greed - 1Tim 6:9,10 envy - Rom 1:29 powerful- the temptations of Matt 4 and Luke 4 and the ability to show and do things that satan did shows a great deal of power. To blind eyes 2Cor 4:4 jealous - he wants to be God Dan 11:36,Isa 14:13,14 I believe the aim of satan is to deceive all the creation into believing satan is God and that the creation can be as gods too if they follow and worship him. These are many things I believe Scripture teaches about satan in relation to your question. Bless you, Love Fountain 2 Tim 2:14-15 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 25 | Does satan's army have military ranking? | Rom 8:37 | Love Fountain | 41159
Dear heisthe1, I do not so easily underestimate the enemy nor do I agree with punching satan as you stated to CDBJ. We are taught in the Bible not to fight evil with evil and to punch anyone is evil in my belief. I do not read Gen 1:2 with the same understanding as you as a referrence to a lack of order on satans part. Satan has order but his followers do not follow in his plan because they are to busy fighting eachother trying to be number one in their pursuits of self exaltation, pride and greed among many other traits the Bible lays out for our witness. Bless you, Love Fountain Matt 10:16 16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. KJV |

Dear angel1, I have never been called a witch before, especially by a self proclaimed witch who admits to making statues of sorcerers who invited evil spirits into her own house. Since I am not a witch nor have I ever studied or practiced any type of witchcraft I am amased at the boldness you display in your accusation towards me. I thank God for you being a recovering witch and I give to Him the painful memories you still have against the evil that obviously seduced you into the lies and darkness of the occult. May you read the Bible and be cleansed and healed by the words of life. If you read this thread you will find that I believe Jesus was crucified on a cross not a stake as you seem to believe. Sexualization of the crucifixion is perverted and shows certain misunderstanding of the context of what the cross is for and I have not supported sexualization merely for exposing the belief that others have and have knowwhere given my approval or support. You and I will be judged by judgement we have made against others, that is why you are to have no judgement against others. Matt 5:23-24 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. KJV Please explain how you are not yourself ensnared if you are still accusing others? Bless you, Love Fountain Matt 15:16-20 16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? 17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. Dear EdB, Please share the half truths and twisted reasoning you are referring to? You have basically told me to shun that website and I don't understand what you mean by,"designed for those that want their ears tickled"? And now you ask if I am joking because I ask you to please share with me what appears to bother you about whatever you read that made you respond against that other site in the way you did. 28 | pre-existence | Jer 1:5 | Love Fountain | 41088
Dear crv464, Jer 1:5 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. KJV If God foreknew Jeremiah before he was in the flesh of the womb and the Scriptures in 1Cor 15:44 say we have two bodies, one physical(flesh) and one spiritual, both separate and distinct from each other. One is corruptible and one is incorruptible. What body would Jeremiah be in if flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven and he was already known by God before being in the flesh? The Hebrew word for "I knew thee" in Jer 1:5 is OT:3045 yada (yaw-dah'); a primitive root; to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively, instruction, designation, punishment, etc.) [as follow]: (Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright (c) 1994, Biblesoft and International Bible Translators, Inc.) Bless you, Love Fountain Rom 11:2-5 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. KJV |

31 | Does satan's army have military ranking? | Rom 8:37 | Love Fountain | 41080
Dear Mercey, I agree with CDBJ, and would like to explore on the word principalities in a singular tense as principality by definition. In the Webster's Ninth New College Dictionary the definition of the word principality is 1a: the state, office or authority of a prince (remember Eph 2:2, satan is called the prince of the power of the air) b: the position or responsibilities of a principal(as of a school) 2: the territory or jurisdiction of a prince: the country that gives title to a prince 3: plural: an order of angels - see CELESTIAL HIERARCHY Then I looked up celestial hierarchy and it says, celestial hierarchy (noun)1883: A traditional hierarchy of angels ranked from lowest to highest into the following nine orders: 1) angels 2) archangels 3) principalities 4) powers 5) virtues 6) dominions 7) thrones 8) cherubim 9) seraphim I can't say that I have read the ranking of angels in the Bible according to my Webster's but I do find it interesting that most of the words are used in the Bible and the definition of the word principality, links to the word celestial hierarchy. I am not sure what you mean by "territorial spirit rank"? I would guess that satan has made many false promises to those who shall follow him and by his false promises many are deceived through their beliefs in his words which are always lies. John 8:44 He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. KJV Satans kingdom is among many other things, greed driven and within greed we find inequality and within inequality we find uneven levels of order which allows interpretation of various orders of rank. Bless you, Love Fountain 1 Cor 15:40 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. KJV |

32 | Pls direct me to verses regarding REST | Matt 11:28 | Love Fountain | 41072
Dear JCLT, How about, Matt 11:28-30 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. KJV If you go to www.blueletterbible.org, there are search functions you can type the word "rest" into and get all the places in the Bible that the word rest is used or you can get a Concordance which will allow you to do the same thing manually. Bless you, Love Fountain Heb 4:8-12 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Dear EdB, No need to apologize to me, I am not your enemy nor do I take offence. Please see that I merely answered the original question from both sides of the coin within this thread. Imagine we are in a court room and the defendant was accused for murder, imagine if the jury only listened to the prosecution and therefore cast a judgement of death without ever hearing the defense and sentence is passed and carried forth. Evidence comes back that the jury condemned and killed an innocent person. If only they had listened to the whole story perhaps the innocent defendant would have been still alive. EdB, Not only do I believe that Jesus carries the sins of the world in His outstretched arms nailed to the cross, but I also believe that the world continues to hammer the nails into His outstretched arms and legs daily, to this very day and onward until the time of His return to put the world back into the understanding of love and equality through unity. Bless you, Love Fountain Deut 4:20-24 20 But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day. 21 Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance: 22 But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall go over, and possess that good land. 23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. 24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. Dear jmscott2, Gen 13:14-17 14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. KJV Crucifix, Cross General Information The cross is among the oldest and most universal symbols. In preliterate societies it often represented a conjunction of dualities. The horizontal arm was associated with the terrestrial, worldly, feminine, temporal, destructive, and negative, passive, and death, while the vertical arm connoted the celestial, spiritual, masculine, eternal, creative, positive, active, and life. Often symbolic of the four astrological elements of earth, water, fire, and air, a cross was also perceived as the cosmic axis from which radiated the spatial dimensions of height, length, width, and breadth, as well as the directions of north, east, south, and west. The ankh (crux ansata) was an ancient Egyptian T - shaped cross surmounted with a loop. It symbolized the creative energies of the male and female and the essence of life. The simple T - shaped cross is named for the Greek letter tau. It is often referred to as the Old Testament cross because Moses supposedly placed a brazen serpent on a T cross (Num. 21:6 - 9), and according to legend, the Israelites on Passover eve marked their doors with blood - drawn tau crosses to identify themselves as Yahweh's followers. Another name for the T cross is the crux commissa. read the rest on the crucifix/cross at http://www.mb-soft.com/believe/txn/cross.htm Matt 16:24 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Dear EdB, Col 3:12-17 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Dear EdB, Please reread what I copied and pasted from another web site again. The words are not mine nor have I taken any position but merely shared something I thought to be of interest regarding the shape of the cross. I see no need for hostility or put downs in any discussion of the Bible and I wish others would do the same so that we can all learn and grow in unity of Christ. Did you go to the website I listed and read the rest of the appendix? I am sorry I could not list the whole apendix in one post for you but I am limited to 5000 characters for some reason. Bless you, Love Fountain Heb 12:1-2 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
