101 | who did cain marry? | Gen 1:1 | Love Fountain | 36873
Dear Charis, Thank you for responding and for your questions. You state,"We all know that the Bible does NOT state who she was. None of the possibilities are 'comfortable.' :-)" This is exactly what I believe, the Bible does not say who she was and I am uncomfortable with the thought of incest. Bless you, Love Fountain Ps 119:97 97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. KJV |

102 | who did cain marry? | Gen 1:1 | Love Fountain | 36871
Dear Hank, Thank you for your response. You state," Anyone with an elementary knowledge of Scripture knows that Scripture does not say explicitly who she was." That is exactly what I believe and thank you for saying that. I do not rely on my logic because my logic is vanity and I am nothing without the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whose word is truth. Bless you, Love Fountain Ps 119:151-153 151 Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth. 152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever. 153 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law. 103 | who did cain marry? | Gen 1:1 | Love Fountain | 36870
Dear Tim, Thank you for the question and the response. As I stated to Hank, my question is not who Cain married but rather who Cain did not marry. You said,"The command against incest was not given until the time of Moses. Thus, there was no command against incest (at least from God) until then." Rev 19:13 13 And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. KJV Tim, His name is Jesus Christ and His name is called The Word of God. Heb 13:8 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. KJV Jesus Christ, The Word of God is the same yesterday, and today and for ever. Lev 18:9 9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. KJV The law states there shall be no incest to a sister(Lev 18:9) or any next of kin(Lev 18:6). Incest is an abomination, always has been and always will be as long as we are in flesh bodies. This is why I don't accept or believe Cain married his sister, or how could the Bible be true. To say that the command was not until Leviticus, I do not agree with. God's laws are written in our hearts, some call it our conscience, a conscience that we all have, whether or not we choose to listen is freewill. I do not know who Cain married the Bible does not say, we should leave it at that until God chooses to allow us to know. If man chooses to believe what is clearly not written, may he enjoy his freewill to have his own point of view. Bless you, Love Fountain Ps 119:160 160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. KJV |

104 | who did cain marry? | Gen 1:1 | Love Fountain | 36666
Dear kalos, You state," For any reasonable person it would have ended the question. I don't know why it wasn't ended then. But, whether out of pride, foolishness or just plain stupidity several forumites rejected the most obvious answer. Indeed any other answer is pure speculation and totally without scriptural support." Kalos my heart goes out to you. You have collected a handful of rocks and each has a word of judgement against fellow brothers and sisters. We are unreasonable, prideful, foolish and stupid according to your words and for this I am saddened. I do not take offence and give this pain within you to the Father and pray that He helps you. The answer of Cain marrying his sister is not the most obvious in my eyes, that is incest no matter how you look at it. This is why I asked Hank to show me where it says in Scripture that Cain married his sister and the question is also open to you. Where does it say in the Bible that Cain married his sister? I believe this teaching is speculation and not Scriptural which is why I asked, show me otherwise please. Bless you, Love Fountain John 17:17 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. KJV |

105 | who did cain marry? | Gen 1:1 | Love Fountain | 36630
Dear Hank, You said,"His sister is the only logical answer in view of the Genesis context." Since you are telling people to believe that Cain married his sister, I have asked you a simple question to support your view with Scripture. Now you are asking me a question instead of answering my question. My question does not pertain to who Cain's wife was, but who it was not. If you honestly believe Cain married his sister than please show me where in the Bible it says so. Bless you, Love Fountain |

107 | what is the state of the dead in Christ? | 1 Cor 5:8 | Love Fountain | 36591
Dear Mommapbs, Forgive me if it appears to you that I am arguing with you. I am here in this forum to discuss and debate in a Christ like manner. If I have not done so thus far I am truly sorry and will try harder. You said,"I wonder what the devil and Michael were arguing about over the body of Moses, maybe this is an indication to us that we should not either! Just a thought! Am I Michael or the devil? Just kidding! Please answer the following question so that I can better answer what I believe regarding the fact you have stated, What do you believe physical death is? Bless you, Love Fountain Luke 12:2 2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. KJV |

108 | 7 men in Revelation, which are you? | Rev 6:15 | Love Fountain | 36446
Dear Listener, Thank you for your response. Many believe we are in the end times and are waiting for the return of Jesus and Rev 6:15 is about the time when Jesus returns, so if this is true, I believe we are the culture this was written to. Anyway, when it says the kings of the earth I would conclude the queens are included. Also, freewomen, bondwomen, etc... I don't think women will be left out or overlooked in anyway. Bless you, Love Fountain Gen 2:24 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. KJV 1 Cor 6:16 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. KJV Eph 5:31 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. KJV |

109 | 7 men in Revelation, which are you? | Rev 6:15 | Love Fountain | 36443
Dear Andrew Jr., Thank you for the response and for the refferal to Romans, I like Romans! Please recall that in Matt 4 and Mark 4 that it was not blood that saved Jesus from the temptation of satan it was the word. I don't believe in the rapture and if anyone or anything shows up at my door saying lets go, I will say have a nice flight. I will stand with the Gospel Armour as told in Ephesian 6 which is put on by reading the Bible and diligently studying because I believe God's will is to stand up for Him and His truth. I see no truth in the rapture. Isn't that the beauty of freewill, you have chosen to believe the rapture and I do not, we are allowed to make our own choices. Bless you in your search for truth, Love Fountain Jer 23:29 29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? KJV Isa 40:8 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. KJV Heb 4:12 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. KJV |

111 | information on speaking in tounges | Acts | Love Fountain | 36416
Dear Submarine43, Tongues means languages. Acts 2:4-11 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. KJV The above verses state that the tongues which were spoken on the day of Pentecost were understood and if you keep reading ahead to verse 16 of the same chapter we are told that they spoke that which was spoken by the prophet Joel, followed with the quoted verses from the book of Joel which is what they said. Hope this helps. Bless you, Love Fountain |

112 | Will idols in your home bring trouble? | Ex 20:4 | Love Fountain | 36415
Dear Josephh, Ex 20:4 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: KJV The above verse is a commandment straight from the Book. In my opinion, get rid of the items in question and don't take a chance playing with spirits and give respect to the Father that made us and allows us to make our own choices through His gift of freewill. Hope this helps. Bless you, Love Fountain |

113 | Why was three fine meal and a Calf ? | Gen 1:27 | Love Fountain | 36413
Dear Leftwich, Gen 18:8 8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. KJV According to the above verse all three ate under a tree. Bless you, Love Fountain |

114 | Do you believe that God was a man | Gen 1:27 | Love Fountain | 36412
Dear Leftwich, You said,"God appeared in human form for Abraham," Do you believe in John 3:16, that Jesus was the only begotten Son? John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV If you believe that Jesus was the only begotten Son, then by saying that God appeared to Abraham in human form is a direct contradiction to Scripture and goes against John 3:16. I hope you understand and this helps. Also you said angels "do not need to eat". I have always thought that God gave angels food to the people of Israel in the wilderness and it was called manna. Wasn't manna angels food? What do you think? Bless you, Love Fountain |

115 | Would this be three men and God | Gen 1:27 | Love Fountain | 36411
Dear Leftwich, I believe Emmaus is saying that God is one of the three according to Gen 18:2,3 as follows, Gen 18:2-3 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: KJV Abraham in verse 3 of Gen 18 calls one of the men My Lord and Emmaus is saying that there are 2 angels and God and that some people believe that these verses with a total of three persons is symbolic of the trinity. Bless you, Love Fountain |

117 | As the deer pants and deep calls to deep | Gen 1:1 | Love Fountain | 36374
Dear Shiner, You say," I have a deep longing and yearning to have more heart knowledge of God.." God wants you to know Him and He has generously written a letter to you to tell you about Himself and to tell you about yourself. In the Bible we are told everything we need to know about God, how to find Him and how He wants us to live. He is so generous that He allows us to have freewill to choose to get to know Him or not, your choice. He does say though that if you don't understand the parable of the sower in the book of Mark chapter 4, then you won't understand ANY parables. Mark chapter 4 should also be read with Matt 13, they go together in many ways as you will see if you read and have a sincere heart and want to understand what the Father has for you. Mark 4:13-20 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. KJV Please forgive me, I don't understand the "deer pants" and am not too bright, but I hope this helps. Bless you, Love Fountain PS - In Matt 13:15 it says,"...understand with your heart..." the word heart is used figuratively for the mind or intellect as follows, The Greek word for heart is kardia in Matt 13:15. NT:2588 kardia (kar-dee'-ah); prolonged from a primary kar (Latin, cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (figuratively) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by analogy) the middle: KJV - (broken-) heart (-ed). 118 | those who live godly will be persecuted | 2 Tim 3:12 | Love Fountain | 36366
Dear Zach, Thanks for the great question! In Eph 6 we are told to stand with armour, and armour is put on when we read the Bible. Everything goes back to the Word. Jesus withstood Satan because of the Word and so shall we if we diligently study and it is God's will. I believe the more you read the Bible, the more truth will be taught to you by the Holy Spirit and the more you will be persecuted as your understanding grows. You ask,"Does the fear of persceution, keep us from living a more godly life?" I would say perhaps in some it may and this brings to mind the parable of the sower in Mark 4 as follows, Mark 4:14-20 14 The sower soweth the word. KJV I recently put together some verses you may enjoy as follows, 1 Peter 4:1-2 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. KJV 1 Peter 4:12-13 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. KJV Wasn't Jesus put on trial daily and one final time?,just my thoughts. Bless you, Love Fountain Jer 4:14 |

119 | How do I deal with Hatred toward God? | Bible general Archive 1 | Love Fountain | 36353
Dear gnuheart, Is there a way that you can ask the person you are referencing why they hate God? If you truly want to be involved and try to help, you and I will need more information. A really hard lesson for me has been to leave people alone once a seed is planted. Scripture teaches we need to allow the Father to grow the seed. So if you have talked with this person and shared the good news, give it to the Father and allow Him to do according to His will. I sense your concern for this person and can relate through my own experiences and when I feel the way I sense you may be, I read my Bible and find verses like the following, Rom 11:7-11 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded 8(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompence unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. KJV Also, Rom 11:25-32 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. KJV Please read the whole Chapter of Rom 11 for a better understanding. Hope this helps. Bless you, Love Fountain |

120 | 7 Churches in Rev., which is yours like? | Rev 1:11 | Love Fountain | 36342
Rev 1:11 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. KJV There are 7 types of Churches in Revelation. 1)Ephesus 2)Smyrna 3)Pergamum 4)Thyatira 5)Sardis 6)Philadelphia 7)Laodicea I believe these Churches existed in the day John wrote Revelation and I also believe these Churches spiritually represent Churches of today. Ever compare to see which Church in Revelation is like the Church you attend today? Which one would you say is like yours and why? Bless you, Love Fountain |
