201 | Is salvation revocable? | Rom 8:1 | jlpangilinan | 77583
Dont look back to the people that sometimes you feel that there are save but then go back to the old time vices. The question really there is are they really save? Being save is between you and God, not because you feel it but God knows are you really save or not. Christ said to his sheep (save persons): Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one. (no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand") do you think it revocable? NO "No man is able to pluck them out". But how are we sure that we are belong to that pluck? Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Paul when has been save assesses that Christ live in the believer: a 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. If christ lives in you, do you think you can lose your salvation? Do you think Christ will leave you and let you go back to your old sins NO: Joh 14:18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen. "He is always be with us unto the end of the worls. Amen." About the catholics believed, leave it in the hand of God, God is justice enough to weight everyone salvation, we cant judge them, it is God will judge everyone of us. God bless, |

202 | What true salvation requires? | John 3:16 | jlpangilinan | 77563
Yes we are honest to say that when people believed in Jesus christ it is that all he needs and save. What is John 3:16 is all about. It is the brief explanation of how people be save, but the bible itself explain the details of how "believed" means to us. If we believed in Jesus Christ weare ready to follow His commandments, He said we have to be baptize thenfollow it : Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. He tell us the details of what we are going to do if really believed in Him. It is not true that your being His believer and do nothing. Believed means repentance: 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And believe means we keep His commandments: Joh 14:15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments. and one of His commandments is to baptize all nation: Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. "and teach them to observed whatsoever I have commanded you" We have to observe whatsoever He commanded the desciples, and the Bible show the detail of all Christ commandments, and you have follow that if you really "BELIEVED" in Him as John 3:16 says. Lastly, "believed means to follow" please always learned from Noah. He believed in God, and he show it by following to build the ark even it took 120 years before the flood came. Noah believed in God, but do you think noah save in the flood if he dont build the ark as the evidence of his believed in God? I dont think so. All those things are contributor to our salvation, some other has gift of speakingin tongue others have different gifts God bless, |

203 | Mormonism - Cult or Satanic Cult | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 77419
Dat, Did your husband tried to hurt somebody? maybe not, my niece is belong to the mormons, I pray everyday that somehow God enlighten her mind so she can accepted the truth of Jesus Christ. I have some friend that belong to mormons some of them elders that came from the U.S. especially utah. They share with me there beliefs, and I listen, Itried to make discussion with them so my niece will heard the mistakes of thier doctrine. Ignoring them like what your brother doing is not just for them, this people need help your husband needs help. I dont think he is satanic, he maybe needs your prayer so you can pull him back to Christ. If your brother is a christian he should not refuse to talk to him, but besides your brother should show to your husband the love of Christ he needs it. You, have to understand your husband and show the love of Christ by showing the good fruit of a Christian. As Christ said "good tree will have a good fruit" Mt 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. I did not say that you are not loving your husband but maybe a little more effort. Paul said we have to take care to unbeliever spouse. 1Co 7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. You can santify your husband through the help of God, please pray, you have to talk to your brother too. God bless, Johnny |

204 | Jesus gave us a new comandment | Matt 22:37 | jlpangilinan | 77351
Mt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Mt 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. When you observe those commandments the 10 commandments is present there. When you love God, it is included in the 10 commandments, the 10 commandments teaches thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, thou shall not covet thy neighboors wife and so on are included in the commandments that we have to love our nieghboor as we love our selves, We still use the 10 commandsments today with a deep meaning as christ said: Mt 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. He come not to destroy the law but to fulfill, but christ fulfill it with the deep meaning not as the same as moses observed it. God bless, |

I hope you are aware to the momons teaching that the God the father was adam, and thier god has many wives. Yes they are not worshiping satan but they are worshiping god and not God the Father but adam. Smith has 48 virgin wives, it is very far from the teaching of Christ: 1Ti 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Thier teaching is different from the Bible: Ga 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. So if we are to God we have to acursed evil |

206 | Is suicide unforgivable ? | 1 Corinthians | jlpangilinan | 77330
Who will repent for you after you suicide? 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Ho could you confess after committing a suicide if dead already, dead cannot ask forgiveness. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: You cannot repent then commit the sins, it means you know it already that your going to do is sin. Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, God bless, |

207 | Is evidence of faith necessary? | Romans | jlpangilinan | 77038
There are people that capable of giving evidence of thier faith, but there are people that cannot. There are people in the bible that capable of giving evidence of thier fate, for example Noah. Noah has faith in God therefore when God told him to make an ark he followed even it is take 120 twenty years before the flood came. Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Ge 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. Did Noah save by just faith? Noah save because He has faith in God and the evidence of that he make an ark that saves them from flood. Do you think if noah did not make the ark, do you believed that he has faith? If he did not make the ark, do you think he will be save in the flood? Paul said this verses also: 1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. "and though I have all faith so He could remove mountains, and have no charity, he is nothing" Charity indeed has evidence, so as faith has.: Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 208 | Where can I find the story about Timothy | Acts 16:1 | jlpangilinan | 77035
Some entry about Timothy, hope it would helps Timothy honouring God, a young disciple who was Paul's companion in many of his journeyings. His mother, Eunice, and his grandmother, Lois, are mentioned as eminent for their piety (2Ti 1:5). We know nothing of his father but that he was a Greek (Ac 16:1). He is first brought into notice at the time of Paul's second visit to Lystra (Ac 16:2), where he probably resided, and where it seems he was converted during Paul's first visit to that place (1Ti 1:2; 2Ti 3:11). The apostle having formed a high opinion of his "own son in the faith," arranged that he should become his companion (Ac 16:3), and took and circumcised him, so that he might conciliate the Jews. He was designated to the office of an evangelist (1Ti 4:14), and went with Paul in his journey through Phrygia, Galatia, and Mysia; also to Troas and Philippi and Berea (Ac 17:14). Thence he followed Paul to Athens, and was sent by him with Silas on a mission to Thessalonica (Ac 17:15; 1Th 3:2). We next find him at Corinth (1Th 1:1; 2Th 1:1) with Paul. He passes now out of sight for a few years, and is again noticed as with the apostle at Ephesus (Ac 19:22), whence he is sent on a mission into Macedonia. He accompanied Paul afterwards into Asia (Ac 20:4), where he was with him for some time. When the apostle was a prisoner at Rome, Timothy joined him (Php 1:1), where it appears he also suffered imprisonment (Heb 13:23). During the apostle's second imprisonment he wrote to Timothy, asking him to rejoin him as soon as possible, and to bring with him certain things which he had left at Troas, his cloak and parchments (2Ti 4:13). According to tradition, after the apostle's death he settled in Ephesus as his sphere of labour, and there found a martyr's grave. EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY God bless, |

209 | Is it wrong to like our bad past? | Luke 13:3 | jlpangilinan | 76435
Lu 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. I dont think if you repent you still like your bad past. Your question is "Is it wrong to like our bad past" Yes if you like your bad past the tendency of going back is so strong. When you repent because you know already the truth of Christ, I dont think you still like your bad past, what kind of repentance of that anyway? God bless, |

210 | Some people say thousand of years past | Gen 1:2 | jlpangilinan | 76379
Biblicaly speaking it was the first day. Ge 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Ge 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. But how do we know, how long is that one day, is that one day of our present day count? 2Pe 3:8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. His day could be thousand years for us, but how do we know. God bless, |

211 | principal value of the book of Exodus | Ex 12:51 | jlpangilinan | 76261
Exodus explain the great deliverance of the nation Israel. It is aslo show how hard for israel to just forget what they have in Egypt and everytime they struggle in thier journey the blame God and moses of why God brough them out of egypt just to suffer. The same in our daily lives, its aplly how hard for us really to forget our sins, and sometimes we are temted to go back in our old life inspite of we already received the truth of the Lord Christ. We aslo blame God if we face pain and struggle in our life. We aso blame God after we receive His truth, if we had pain and sorrows, we aslo curse God everytime there something bad happened in our lives. Not knowing that what God want is always the best for His children. God bless, |

212 | How did baptism heal naaman of leprosy? | 1 Pet 3:21 | jlpangilinan | 75816
Emmaus, Did someone baptize naaman? I quoted the verse here regarding naaman, he dripped himself to the water, can he baptize himself? 2Ki 5:10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 2Ki 5:14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. |

213 | Who besides Elijah entered heaven bodily | Gen 5:1 | jlpangilinan | 75651
Although the Bible mentioned that Enoch and Elijah not seeing death all of them died in faith as paul said. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: It is appointed unto mean once to die. If Enoch did not really died, this passages is wrong, as we all know Bible will not contradict itself. Paul explain how this people died in faith: Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, (paul is referring to Enoch, Elijah and those people that walked with God) not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Apostle John, has his own assessment that no man hath seen God in any time, if Enoch and Elijah really in Heaven of course they will see God: Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Apostle John also wrote that: Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. "and no man hath ascended up to heaven," John referring the word "heaven" as the Kingdom of God. The question maybe may arise, but it was written, Elijah was brought to heaven by the chariot of fire. 2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. The heaven meantion there is not the House of God, otherwise his son will complete wrote that He God receiving Elijah. Elisha, probably refer "heaven" as the firmanent: According to the Jewish notion there were three heavens, (a) The firmament, as "fowls of the heaven" (Ge 2:19; 7:3,23; Ps 8:8, etc.), "the eagles of heaven" (La 4:19), etc. (b) The starry heavens (De 17:3; Jer 8:2; Mt 24:29). (c) "The heaven of heavens," or "the third heaven" (De 10:14; 1Ki 8:27; Ps 115:16; 148:4; 2Co 12:2). God bless, |

214 | Holy Spirit or Ghost at Cross? | Luke 3:22 | jlpangilinan | 75646
Lu 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. In this verse, it was explain that God the Father and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is different Person. It is the same way that the Ghost that Jesus commend to the Father is different from the Holy Spirit. Also when Christ, commanded His apostle to teach all nation He told them to baptize every one in the Name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, meaning this Three Person are different from each other, meaning God the Father is not Jesus and not the Holy Ghost. I hope it would help. God bless, |

215 | Holy Spirit leave us at the cross? | John 16:7 | jlpangilinan | 75504
No! It is His spirit that He comnmend to the Father Lu 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Holy Spirit and Christ is not the same person, so that ghost that he gave up is different from the Holy Spirit or the comforter. oh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you Joh 16:7 ¶ Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 216 | prayers OF those who've passed on | John 14:6 | jlpangilinan | 75498
That is not true, Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. There is only One Way to heaven it is Jesus Christ. If we still alive we can pray for one another: Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. But if we will die, we are judge in our inquity not base on the prayers of others. Re 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 217 | difference between your soul and spirit | Heb 4:12 | jlpangilinan | 75108
They are different Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Spirit (Heb ruah; Gr. pneuma), properly wind or breath. In 2Th 2:8 it means "breath," and in Ec 8:8 the vital principle in man. It also denotes the rational, immortal soul by which man is distinguished (Ac 7:59; 1Co 5:5; 6:20; 7:34), and the soul in its separate state (Heb 12:23), and hence also an apparition (Job 4:15; Lu 24:37,39), an angel (Heb 1:14), and a demon (Lu 4:36; 10:20). This word is used also metaphorically as denoting a tendency (Zec 12:10; Lu 13:11). Easton Bible Dictionary Baker's Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology Soul [N] The Old Testament. The Hebrew word so rendered is nepes [v,p,n]. It appears 755 times in the Old Testament. The King James Version uses 42 different English terms to translate it. The two most common renderings are "soul" (428 times) and "life" (117 times). It is the synchronic use of nepes [v,p,n] that determines its meaning rather than the diachronic. Hebrew is inclined to use one and the same word for a variety of functions that are labeled with distinct words in English. This word has a range of meanings similar to nepes [v,p,n]. It frequently designates life: one can risk his life (John 13:37; Acts 15:26; Rom 16:4; Php 2:30), give his life (Matt 20:28), lay down his life (John 10:15,17-18), forfeit his life (Matt 16:26), hate his life (Luke 14:26), and have his life demanded of him (Luke 12:20). |

218 | will i know loved ones in heaven??? | 2 Samuel | jlpangilinan | 75100
Christ said in this verse that He is going to drink a new wine them in His Fathers house, I am sure when that time come, each apostle will recognized thier fellow apostle and they will remember that statement of Christ. So if the apostle can recognize each of them I am sure we will recognize our love ones. Mt 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. But the very clear statement of Christ is that we are as angels: Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. God bless, |

219 | Exodus and a God to fear | Mal 3:6 | jlpangilinan | 75077
Fear God means that you obey His Will or walked in His way. Ge 20:11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake The people that not fear God are those wicked one's, for example me I fear God so I dont want to do harm in my nieghboor as I could. fear indeed is not just for God but for our parents. Le 19:3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. So fear is not completely means scared, but respect. Maybe moses taught it that way because at the time it could be the way that thier mind can comprehend. If we remember almost all they need to do is specifically given to them i.e they have wash thier hands if they touch such dead animals. God did not change or change His mind: Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. He is really a loving God from everlasting. He is God that will love people that will obey His commandments and God that will not tolerate the wickedness of anyone. The application maybe different from Old Testament into a New Testament but it is the same God will punish the wicked ones forever and everlasting: Re 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
